The All Stars Project (ASP) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1981, whose mission is to transform the lives of youth and poor communities using the developmental power of performance, in partnership with caring adults.
ASP is forming its 2021 class for the Development School for Youth (DSY), a free afterschool development program. In the DSY, young people experience the business world through a series of rigorous, high-level workshops and trainings with executives and managers and learn to perform as young professionals.
This year, we have developed a virtual version of this program. The DSY Spring Leadership Program will last for 6 weeks, beginning in March. Through the DSY young people ages 16 to 21 will meet 1-2 times a week (via Zoom) and have the opportunity to meet business leaders from across the country. The program includes corporate workshops, resume writing, interviewing skills, and students’ own personal development coach! There are no GPA, grade, or school attendance requirements. One of the program’s outstanding features is the focus on ordinary young people who want to invest in their future, not just the “best” and the “brightest”.
Admission for Spring and Fall classes is ongoing throughout the year!
