The City and County of San Francisco’s Kindergarten to College program helps families save for college by opening a K2C college savings account at Citibank for every SFUSD student who started Kindergarten Fall 2010 or after (K-10 for SY 2020-2021) with an initial $50 deposit. Families can check their balance online here, https://sfgov.org/ofe/your-k2c-account.
Families can earn incentives when they start making deposits into their K2C accounts. Just by registering online you can get $20 credited to your student account. There are additional incentives and scholarships.
There are various ways to make deposits into your K2C accounts. See all the ways HERE.
