We are a behavioral health community based program that serves primarily African American, Latino, Samoan youth and TAY females and males. Our services are culturally rooted in the wellness of our youth and their family, social justice, youth empowerment and building young minds. Our services are provided through a continuum of care lens in the community and to Middle/High Schools of students and to families who reside in the Southeast sector and beyond. – Our service menu includes: outpatient drug & alcohol counseling, academic support, life skills, pro-social activities (curriculum based projects: Art & Culture, Sports, Health and STEM) – monthly field trips and incentive projects. For our families we offer a parent and teen-youth empowerment program, for our Girls/TAY young women we offer direct case management services and broker a wide range of life skills and community service focusing on areas like: higher education, financial literacy & entrepreneurship, job readiness, legal support, housing, healthcare etc. Our Juvenile Probation Alternative Program is designed as an alternative to incarceration or out of home placement, and we offer an anti-dropout program for young people who need incentives to stay in school. We promote Bayview Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL Zone).
