OCC is the City and County of San Francisco Department that investigates civilian complaints against San Francisco police officers and makes policy recommendations to improve relations between the community and the police. The OCC is staffed by diverse group of civilians who have never been SF police officers and it is a spear ate office from the Police Department. Complaints can be made by in person, by mail, phone or fax. We can arrange a staff presentation to your school or community group so that you can learn about and utilize the OCC process. If you speak a language other than those languages spoken by OCC staff, they will provide an interpreter FREE of charge.
